This one was a sort of leftover shot I did after some unsuccessful "experimentations" (well... too much a big word) in my basement. I noticed the light coming out from the dusty window and thought it could be interesting together with the lamp. The hand stuff I did myself - and I have had the idea from other photos I seen before but the overall "mood" came more from personal thoughts....Oh well it's very dark!

Une photo avec une atmosphère angoissante . On sent qu'il va se passer quelque chose, ou qu'il se passe déjà !!!!. Un traitement et une composition qui sert bien ce que tu as voulu nous présenter . Cette photo est excellent pour moi .

Did you add a lot of dodging and burning or layer masks to the image?

jacques philippe Spot metering on the lamp so that I had to dodge a little bit around indeed, but not that much. I added grain merely to avoid the lamp being just a white spot and adjust contrast in a vey basic way. My concern was the large area between lamp and hand compositionwise. And it was possible to get details here but finally goes for very dark because felt it was closer to the mood I wanted to get.

ah!!!!! very dark yes, but so impressive and a little bit "scary".. but a very good job!

Daniel Portal Pas de preference d'endroit ou theme vraiment. Ce n'est pas mon style naturel, mais j'ai toujours aime et aussi voulu faire un peu de street, si ca te va. Mais je suis ouvert a pratiquement tout.
