How did you manage to get it to stand so still Johan? Lovely work as always.

For this kind of insect it really helps with the "long" working distance you get from the Canon 180 f/3.5L. But you still have to get close. So patience, waiting and slooow movements help a lot! Fortunately tiger beetles are in general quite stationary, so if you find a place which they consider a good spot, they rarely leave the area so you'll get quite a few opportunities.
