One of the most intriguing photos I've seen in the last few months.

The way the room is lit is just wonderful. The overexposed patches of light on the rear wall are much in contrast with the blackness of the stove and competing with it for attention. The bath tub gives depth to the room, the floor is lit very subtly and leads the viewer into the room.

The model, she's really really good; I feel like I'm intruding in a very private moment. Her pose indicates doubt, regret, hesitation, maybe even guilt, for the viewer to wonder about and to keep wondering about.

But most of all it's the weird atmosphere of the room that keeps me looking back at this photograph; it took me a while to realize why; things look a bit out of place; the bath tub and the stove are not connected (no tap, no chimney); the girl has no reason to be there, it does not look like a comfortable place.

The combination of the girl's pose, the lighting and the puzzling room make this a picture to keep looking at.

Just lovely, I can only wish I'd made this one.
