Mal Smart thank you very much Ulf, yes I'm a bit bored of the cold and snow now, this morning it snowed again, roll on spring time.

Its the sort of thing i used to do a few years back, indeed I had a look at the exif and this one was taken in May 2004, just hadn't got round to doing anything with it. lol

Real men apply Vaseline directly to the lens element, but only the front element.
This is real purdy.

Mal Smart I find it irritating when bugs get stuck to the filter, most annoying.

I'm surprised by all that phaffing around Mal, have you not heard, there is a wee software program called Photoshop that would have been handy for this..... ;-)

Mal Smart I get particularly irritated when flies get stuck to the filter and only realise when I get home to find a "Splat" like character looking at me on the monitor. hehe

John Parminter I get particualarly irritated when I do a whole shoot down the beach and haven't realised there are salty water droplets covering my filters, it happened as recently as Sunday night and I never learn from it!!

Mal Smart yeah and that salt is a complete nightmare to remove, never found a cloth that will do a good job and not smear. mal

John Parminter Breath and kitchen roll usually does the trick when I remember, until you get home and soapy water etc.

And that's what I like about 1X, a very good screening system that works for everyone in the same way. Only a little faster for you I guess, screening of my photos takes sometimes up to a week, but that's the difference of free membership.....
