Ian Bramham Thanks Bill....I thought you'd seen this one before at DPR. I took it last Christmas time in Paris. I was up well before dawn that particular morning and it was incredibly cold, especially down by the river.

I'd been trying to get a decent shot of this bridge for a while without any success but this time I was lucky as it started to snow just as dawn broke which made all the difference, fading the backround a little. I waited for someone to cross the bridge to give it some scale and was 'lucky' when this lady shuffled across with her head bowed against the cold and swirling snow.

If she'd been moving any quicker the image would have been blurred at such a slow shutter speed. This was handheld with the Nikon 70-300vr lens (Vibration reduction and auto iso are so useful at times!)

Ian Bramham Thanks!....No boat needed for this one!...the photo was taken at dawn from the river bank (early January and it was just starting to snow, hence the 'misty' background).
