This is Jimmy Molière. For years he was the guitarist of Fats Domino, and he went on tour with all the great jazz musicians.
After the huricane katrina he escaped New Orleans and came to Belgium. Last sunday (22/09/09) he performed in Bruges at the wonderful street happening "autoloze zondag" (day without motorised traffic).
I want to thank him for the very fine music he brings

I want to thank you for shooting this image. This has history within itself. Jimmy Molière. I can see the pain , the dreams past, the things that worked out and those that never happened. For me Mr Jimmy Molière is grounded on a land where her realized in his youth that good things can happen as all the great Black Jazz artists discovered before civil rights included them as an equal in America. Funny how so much is documented into one man while he plays.

awesome shot !! I love the intensity and focus in his eyes, as a long time guitarist myself I can really appreciate images like this, old blues men doing what they love, love the b&w conversion on this shot too, very nice work !!
