Amazingly beautiful image and it seems it was taken from a location that allows the use of tripod. I'm seriously considering visiting the place, but one thing that really bothers me me is that after you get there all you get are the blurry images taken from a boat ride. Combine the low light of the magic hour with my love for HDR and you get a sure recipe for disappointment.
You've been there so I can ask you - are there enough places to take images from hard land - even if it means hiring a special ride (if at all possible)?

WK Chew Greetings Jean, you are right, most of my pictures were really disappointed me as it can only be taken on the boat. You know, people around you trying to be in front of you. This photo was actually shot from an entry to a cave, I forgot the name of the cave that located at the middle of the scenery. I shot it hand held without tripod. I was only on a day trip from Hanoi and I believe you can actually stay on the big boat from few days to appreciate the sunrise and sunset in Har Long Bay. I am playing to go there again and I will make sure to stay there for more days. Thansk

Wonderful scenery! I recognized at once!!! I thought it was Hay Long Bay not Har?
