Bruce I can see now that it's customary here to reply individually to any comment rather than "collectively" which I did regarding the location for this photograph. So possibly you may have never even read my answer. It's not my habit to ignore anyone's questions, I was simply unaware of the commenting practices on 1x, so here's my belated reply:
South East England, East Sussex (county), South Downs (hills), Brighton area :-)

South of england is too often neglected regarding landscape, there are so many beautiful place in England.

Bruce That's exactly my impression. The landscape features in these parts are rather "un-dramatic", mild, serene; atmospheric conditions are not a photographer's ally either most of the time. And I guess the more accomplished and experienced landscape photographers are attracted to the more obvious places in Britain... Hardly a hundred miles to the west and already at least the coastline gets more interesting ;-)...

RomImage But don'y say that too loud, else there will have to many people and then it will be the end of the serenity in this place. ;) ;)

Bruce If it could only help... the area is heavily trampled - Sussex is one of the more densely populated and strongly urbanized regions in England, it's just photographers are rather scarce in this crowd ;-)...
