Love this King and would also love to see it in colour too.

King Douglas Thanks, Tony. This was shot on b/w film, a publicity photo for the Boston Ballet. These days, of course, I'd be shooting digital and color would be the default.

Tony D If i had looked to the right i would have seen it was on Film, but still would be nice to see this in colour too.

Peter turner Hi again King. My son has just written a quick profile, whilst I dictated.
Must admit that I had also forgotten about it. P

Peter turner Just had a series of eye operations, got in on a cancellation for third of four last thursday.
So can only do short spells at a time for at least a week, should be four.
Will write up a few bits, bit by bit.
Have yet to upgrade as well.
Looking forward to your opinion on next one of mine, which is in screening at present.

Aren't there some self-portraits in your 1X portfolion where you are looking very danceresque? I don't mean doing steps, but very graceful and aware of the lines of your body.

King Douglas Thanks very much, Lev. Yes, it was necessary to stop the action as she couldn't simply stand in that position. I had to catch the kick of the back leg at exactly to top.

Jennifer S I was a dancer for some time....not ballet...more modern. It is my daughter who is passionate about ballet.

King Douglas Thanks, Codrin. I may seem to be flooding 1X with old dance images these days, but there are several reasons and purposes.

These are new scans of old negatives.
I'm using the new scans to improve images already on my website
I'm getting ready to self-publish a book of dance images that will...
Help me get support for a new dance photography project that I have in mind.
