What an excellent photo. Love the contrast between the clouds and the small windmills (that I know are not small at all)

A so strange cloud...! Original shot !
WOW! full of drama and stillness at the same time.
Alex OBrien  Thanks Kaveh, a deserted beach during a storm certainly is strangely pleasant. :)

Really really nice Alex. I remember when you were working so hard to get your first image published here, and now look at you!! You are on a real roll. Your work has improved immeasurably and this is a fine example of it. Stunning composition, and wonderful mood - perfect for that category. So nice to see your fine images honored here at 1x. Congratulations, even if I am a few months late!!
Alex OBrien  No trouble my friend, reading those words was wonderful. Trying to get my first image on was not hard work, it was sheer desperation. :)
Thanks you very much!

This is a great photo Alex. May I say that it sucecedes because it doesn't look forced or over manipulated but just a simple photo of a pretty spectacular cloud enhanced by a neat composition. Well done.

JP
Alex OBrien  Thanks a lot John, I barely edit the majority of my photos but I suppose a lot of them have that look, very glad you like it! :)

Serious cloud you caught there Alex. Excellent juxtaposition with the windfarm. With you on Stiffkey and Wells. You got any shots of Cley Mill? I don't think anyone has photographed that. . . ;-)
Alex OBrien  I restrained myself thank god, thanks again Jon, your comments always make me smile! :)

Ah, one of my favourite locations. I'm surprised you managed to get the distant windfarm at only 70mm... but I've only tried shooting it from Heacham, which is a mile or two further away, I guess.

Great mood and nicely processed, well done! =)
Alex OBrien  Hunstanton a favourite Paul? You need to go further down the coast to Stiffkey and Wells, much nicer. ;)
Taken on a very clear day, give or take a storm or two. This was taken closer to Holme rather then Hunstanton I think, head on to the windmills.
Thanks! :)
Paul Jackson  Yeah they're nicer, I'll grant you - Hunstanton (or rather Heacham) is just where I spent most of my childhood holidays =)

great - heavy capture! and wow am I happy that my holidays were a bit further south *gg

have a wonderful day Alex!
Alex OBrien  Thanks Doro, this was a particularly fierce storm, but we had many others, lightning landing five meters away from my little tent was pretty scary. ;)

I guess physically you send it here now to India:-)) The weather i mean:-)

Great capture!

I think i take my evening tee now:-)

Robert
Alex OBrien  No Robert, it is always like this in England, I almost died quite a few times this year being chased thunderstorms in the sea. ;)
Enjoy your tea. :)

Alex,

I'm pleased to inform you, in British-style, that when this picture came across my local computer for due consideration as to its suitability for publishing or not that I selected the former option.

Congratulations and well done!

Colmar
Alex OBrien  Thanks Colmar, no one can expect total popularity and I am very glad you told me, very admirable! Can I just ask why, I can see a few flaws, just curious and in no way upset, happy to have a friend such as yourself. :)
Colmar Wocke  Alex,

I voted YES on this one. I saw no flaws (other than the weather - but that helped here).

Go well.

Colmar
Alex OBrien  Oh, misunderstood, so very typical of me, thanks again Colmar! :)
