Hi Dan, remember this shot well from elsewhere. Like this a lot.

I just got back from a weekend trip to the panhandle region of Texas (look up Pampa, Texas on Goole Maps). I saw many scenes such as this but as I had my wife and mother-in-law in the car with me and no clouds, it wasn't a good time to explore, photographically (although I did get a quite different photo that I will be submitting to 1X).

This makes me happy as it was the kind of photo I was seeing in my mind while driving through the beautiful countryside. Kudos. Well done!

Great contrasts and tonal range. I love the leading line of the field right to the tree.

Amazing smooth furrows. What are they going to grow? I'm guessing potatoes. Very nice shot.
Dan Deakin  This was taken in May - the field is waist high in potatoe plants now.

Thanks for the comments.
