So glad this image made it. I voted for it, but didn't see it for quite a while. Awesome image - very effective as b/w which probably wouldn't have been my inclination.

Audun Wigen Thank you for your nice comments. I feel honored to have this picture published. Have only been a member for 3 months now, and I keep getting overwhelmed and impressed by the quality of the other pictures here on the site :-)
The reason for making this picture b/w in the first place was actually the colour of the sky, which was really dull. Then I read somehing another b/w enthusiast wrote: "if colour doesn't add an extra quality to your picture - then make it b/w", so b/w it was. Thanks again for your nice words.
