Quite a fantastic photograph, that I've had in my favorites here ever since you published it. It inspired me recently as I was walking by the border of a lake in Sweden, and the photograph I made was awarded a "daily deviation" in Deviant Art where I published it... In the storm of comment this generated, someone asked me how I even thought about shooting this and I remembered that you shot the photograph which changed the way I saw the world, and that person suggested I should let you know and show your the photograph, so here it is: http://charliemacbell.deviantart.com/#/d4f1d2x

Oh this one is brilliant!!
it looks just like a fish illustration and it's very exciting! behind that water calmness lies fish insanity...

I remember a painter in Amdo (Norther China), who would with a few strokes of his brush, calligraph branches and leaves quite in the spirit of this photograph. Truly marvelous that "the world as you see it" reflects such an elegant and serene atmosphere, and demonstrates the nature of art with the art of nature... ;)

When I see delicate grasses like this, I always think of ballerina's with their arms gently bowed over their heads. This is just beautiful and delicate.
