Hello,

I remember I voted against during screening. Truely I don't understand that a bad quality picture (out of focus, no sharpness, lack of details) that is also not original at all (the repetition of closed windows with only one opened and people in it, seen hundred times...) can reach the galery.

Seems odd to me :)

I agree that the technically quality could be better, and if it was rejected because of that I would understand it. But of course that was not for me to decide. The originality however I think is a more complex issue. The fact that the concept has been seen a lot of times doesn't make all these pictures the same. Personally I think the quality (not technically) of a picture is relative, depending on who is watching. In other words a picture doesn't have a quality or a value of its own. I have felt the same way as you about a lot of pictures in the gallery but I think I have to respect, that a lot of other people seem to enjoy the pictures that I find completely uninteresting.

PLOVE You are absolutely right, everybody's feelings are different, and I just express mine about this photograph. It is of course not the only way to see it, it is just mine.

Should I say nothing? I don't know, I'm not only saying "I don't understand why this picture is here" I explain why, with arguments. I'm recent here, but what appears clearly to me in this photo galery is that 99% of the comments are like "another master piece john"...
