The Three Sisters
I feel there is still beauty in the mountains even on days such as these, afterall, they do look like this an awful lot of the time..!!

The Three Sisters form an impressive western flank to Glen Coe and offer some superb walking and mountaineering.

just glorious JP, wonderful subtle tones throughout but with a brooding atmosphere. Just great. mal
John Parminter  Cheers Mal, frustrating time with this one as it was drizzling. Fighting with a cheap knackered umbrella and wet gear was testing my patience but glad I persevered as I want to show the mountains as they are a lot of the time.

Very nice John, love the piece of road in the right :-)

Awsome John.
John Parminter  A lot better without that dodgy looking character spoiling the shot aye..!!

JP
Andre du Plessis  ...the one with the builder's bum on the other frame? Hmmm....not too bad. Believe me...I'm a doctor:)

Bitter sweet memories for me John though I know where the perfect hanging valley is. The raw face of the highlands real & threatening powerful & endless strong & timeless apart the tarmac but even mountains cannot halt progress!
John Parminter  You'll be refering to the Lost Valley then Gerard, quite a place.

JP
gerard sexton  Yeah I got a photo with my old OM10 by placing it on a ledge & guessing the exposure probably the best image I ever got through the mists the velvia greens really sang shame I lost the neg the only copy of the image sits on my friends wall. Must go back if not just for the walk up along the stream.

Classic JP stuff. Just shows what can be done with less than perfect light.
John Parminter  I would have hoped for that magical directional light Jon but I was determined to get something out of this wet and overcast day and I think it shows the Highlands in their quite usual way.

The low light gives a lovely light on this great composition.
Greetings.
John Parminter  The light was actually very difused creating an even saturation of colours.
Cheers Agustin.
