Alexandre Buisse It's called South America. You should try it, there are daily departures from Earth.

King Douglas I've been to Buenos Aires many time, but haven't had the chance to visit the Andes. How did you get to this amazing location?...airport, ground transport, accommodations?

Alexandre Buisse It's fairly easy: fly to Lima, then overnight bus to Huaraz. Then plenty of nice guesthouses in the city or of mountain lodges. This was taken from the terrace of my hotel! Of course, the best way to see the mountains is to go trekking, and that too is very easy.
If you leave now, you could be there in less than 24 hours :)

King Douglas As I work for American Airlines, I can afford to fly to Lima at any time. My knees won't hold up to trekking. Is that one of the things you do?

Alexandre Buisse One of many, yes. But even if you don't trek, a trip to Huaraz is very recommended. The bus is very comfy, too. Contact me privately if you want more specific travel details.
