You can see Curved Ridge pretty well on this image (the prominent central buttress). I feel privileged to have climbed it, though unfortunately, we couldn't view more than a few meters ahead, due to Scottish fog.

John Parminter Cheers Alex, to be honest I don't even like this view of Stob Dearg from this waterfall, much prefering my other shots from a distance back, I feel the aspect of the mountain is represented far better. I only really took this shot as its obligatory if you want to apply for a Scottish passport.......

John Parminter Thanks Franz, Scotland is a fabulous place to visit. But, no I do not live in Scotland, I live in the North West of England in an area called the Lake District which is beautiful as well.

Its a stunning mountain all year round but after a cold night with the first light of dawn it looks incredible.

John Parminter Indeed it is Stuart, I even climbed to the top recently after years of whizzing past it in the motor to get to other locations.

I have to say this is not my prefered view of it as I much prefer the view from Lagangarbh or the wee pools of water on the moor opposite the Kingshouse.
