High Fens

The High Fens (French: Hautes Fagnes; German: Hohes Venn) are without a doubt one of the most unspoilt pieces of nature in Belgium. It's a unique nature reserve and a very rainy (1500-1700 mm per year) and swampy region.

Hallo Klaus, die Landschaft in welcher ich einen großen Teil meiner Kindheit und Jugend verbracht habe mit Beobachtungen von Auerhahn und Wildkatze. Nur gab es damals noch keine Kameras, die Bilder dieser Qualität hätten liefern können oder sie waren mir unbezahlbar. So war ich noch mit der Agfa Klick II dort :-))

Schön zu sehen, dass diese Landschaft immer noch so erhalten ist wie vor über 35 Jahren. Somit werde ich dort auch mal wieder eine Besuch abstatten und mich der Dinge erinnern, die ich alle dort sah. Den Auerhahn und die Wildkatze wird es wohl nicht mehr geben. Aber dafür diese Landschaft noch. Ein sehr schönes Bild von dort. Nun sei mir jedoch nicht böse oder gram, aber je öfter ich es anschaue um so mehr sehe ich auch die mitunter kräftige Bearbeitung. Nicht aber zum Nachteil Deines Bildes. Das ist ok so. Es ist alleinig meine Erinnerung an diesen wundervollen Fleck in der Eifel. Gruß vom Franz

Diese unglaubliche Moorlandschaft wird uns auch noch lange erhalten bleiben.
Zur Bearbeitung kann ich nur sagen, ich habe versucht mit einem HDR dem großen Kontrastumfang Herr zu werden
und diese ganz spezielle "Venn-Stimmung" darzustellen.
