Passerelle Simone de Beauvoir

It's a panoramic view of the French National Library in Paris from the bridge "Simone de Beauvoir".

It's a stitch of 9 pictures taken with an old full manual 50 mm (a SMC Takumar from old pentax camera).

The X in the front of one of the builfing of the Library was the description of temporary exposition who has subject: the part of erotism in the books.

Merci pour ton commentaire sur ma photo du "brumisateur". Ce qui est très drôle aussi c'est que j'ai fait exactement la même photo de la passerelle, au moment où il y avait encore le X ! je dois avouer que la mienne est moins nette.

What time was it when you did the shooting ? Because there must be nobody walking on this moving bridge.

I have shoot by memory at 10PM. This bridge is not in the real center of Paris, then he'sn't very crowded.

This picture gives a feeling of being in a space ship. The composition is well balanced and is neat. Sepia color adds to the picture.

Very nice allround capture here. Clearly lots of bright lights around, but you've retained the dark backdrop and also the graphic composition is lovely and balanced. Toning also well done.
