A Silent Place

This lake is my favorite place at the moment, i seem to get back there again and again...
Maybe it has some qualities that i am not finished with!
I find myself alone,with nature.
I find myself there in the night, in the morning, in the evening..
I think i am trying to catch the light.....just at that moment where the mist calmly elevates from the water.

It's amazing how much the feeling of slowly making out the details, and realizing that the background is actually trees and bushes, is similar to the real experience of watching them slowly becoming visible beyond the fog. As if I was there in person. Keep on making such photos and we don't need to travel there! ;)

oona I sometimes think that my pictures is like a diary..And i would love to share it with you all (parts of it anyway...lol)
And in my life there is a certain slowness, and the nature around me describes this..
I am honored that you can see the trees and bushes, some mistake them for noise ;-)
But then again, i think this is a "slow picture"!

I just LOVE this picture. Best example I have ever seen to illustrate the saying: Less is more! And it's timeless and of another world at the same time - fascinating! :-)

Lars Klottrup Yes, and the placement of the horizon made a very dynamic picture IMO - against all rules! Should be a looser placement, but tuned out to be a winner. So much for rules! :-)

oona Yes, i know about the rules, and sometimes its just...well,boring...(uppsss...)LOL
In the end there is a heart felt thing (i am trying to elaborate on it,and its damm hard...)
So, sometimes i go by the heart, because it "feels" better than all rules in the world ;-)
And i think that i have a "groove" on the heart thing, at the moment! And i think my own "development" is just there, in life, and in my passion: Photography. I learn something everyday, and much of that is in here,, but not all.
