Lovely tones in this one.

That pink band above the horizon is called "the belt of Venus".
If you do a search on it you'll find some good images of this beautiful phenomenon.

Nice exposure were the light is well-preserved, and gives a nice and calm tone over the image. Well composed as well, good one!

Now I know many of you think this is really nothing special due to the centered horizon and the lack of impact. But to me, this lack of impact is what makes it special because with more impact it wouldn't emit the calmness it does now.
And if I had the chance to take this shot again I wouldn't change the centered horizon either. I'd maybe just zoom in a little. But the location, the light, the colours and all together was just screaming to take the shot this way.
That does not mean I do not appreciate the "negative" feedback, too. I do.

KPK Simply forget about those comments regarding missing "impact".
I'm still of the strong opinion that the term "impact" is often misused during screening and should be removed from the list.

Larz I have to agree on this.
I'm a big fan of big skies, but just because this is a peaceful scene, it doesn't mean it lacks impact for me.
Really like the simplicity of the image. Nice job on the colors as well.
