I have never been to Scotland before and "going" there for last 3 years... ;)
Apart of dramatic composition this looks great in B&W. May I ask did U use IR filter or was it something else?

Mal Smart very clever eye Krzysztof! Yes the image was shot through a Hoya R72 infra red filter. I use it more for its ND qualities but well spotted. Thank you. mal

I thought I recognised the profile of this scene! A wonderful shot, Mal. Great direction given by the foreground. Stayed briefly on Skye in September, en route to the Uists. Are you a frequent visitor?

Mal Smart it does have that look and indeed it was the hoya r72 Rich. I really use it as an nd filter though, rather than seek its true purpose these days. mal

Ah, yes. This has a lot of Mal-ness to it:) I like how the foreground counterbalances the mountain in the background. It creates just the right amount of tension to make me want to stay and look.

Much photographed but not often as well as this! Fabulous place. Hope you took the boat over to loch Coruisk.

Mal Smart not on this occasion JB but many times before have I been on the boat. My family have property in the area and I have been visiting this place since 4 months old! lol
