The Roach

I have called this documentary as the car was on the ramps being worked on when I took the photo...the Roach was my friends daily driver, it was the best old beetle ever but Rich needed an operation on his shoulder and couldnt drive Roach any more, he sadly sold it on thinking that it was going to be loved, but in fact it was stripped and sold as parts - tragic.....so this is in memorium!

What a wonderful shot, and such a sad story.
I still think about my first Bug with fond memories, a 1961 with a torn sunroof. :)

love this one jojo.... here in mexico we call it just Volks Wagens... was the best selling car for long years and use to be the favorite taxi here in mexico city... all beat ups and painted in green... the goverment decide to take em off the streets a couple of years ago.
