It's kind of weird feeling when I think of the camp which is located 20km from where I live. Great photo.
Fernand Hick  Very happy you like it...!

Its so interesting to look at this photo because of the amazing quality and message... It really tears me into two different directions. One side is amazed by the overwhelming message and the other is struck down by the sadness of the scene. Unbelievable capture and perfectly composed.

Sehr gut mein Freund... ausgezeichnet tatsächlich.

Shane

Tenebrosa e inquietante, muy bien reflejado el ambiente que se debía de respirar en Auschwitz.

Great shot, considering the subject matter. The whole scene makes me sick though; just looking at the razor wire alone is too much. :(
Fernand Hick  Many thanks Benjamin...

I like the composition a lot. Auschwitz is such a paradoxical place, it has an aesthetic quality that seems almost indecent in regard to its history, and you managed to capture both sides in this image.
It took me months to get over my visit there last year. It made me a different person.
Fernand Hick  Alexandre, ce lieu a une âme et ne nous laisse pas indifférent quand on y passe. Merci pour tes quelques mots, Fernand

but i'm not sure if the added sign was necesary to reinforce the message?
Fernand Hick  Thanks a lot Noarno.
A strong rendering of this place, rendering well the sad history linked to it. The cold color tones translate this perfectly

What a strong Photo! Beautiful!
The light in the distance is so good for the mood in the picture!
If you could hear voices behind it in the light of what is played there!
And a beutiful cold color!

A very strong photo and excellent processed.
May I ask what the numbers in your titles refers to, like the 'PUr 254' in this photo?
Fernand Hick  The number in my titles refer to the clessification of my pics; in this case PUr 254 means ic number 254 in the Paysage Urbain (cityscape) folder. Many thanks for your comment Ulrik.

What a stunning photo. Beautiful exposure and post processing. It says a lot that I pretty much knew where it might be (at least what sort of place it might be) without looking at the title or the details.
Fernand Hick  Many thanks for your appreciation Richard.
