Happiness
In screening 4 noted sharpness as a weakness. Is it not obvious that the subjects are sitting behind dirty old plastic windows and not precision ground hubble telescope optical grade glass?

Ho, ho ... even though you're teeth might be gritted, I think you're still smiling (hubble telescope?!). Well done.
Richard Ford  Nah - not gritted - just amazed at how people are so keen to see and critique - but their eyes are half shut... thanks anyway - as I said below - pure luck.

Cheers,
RF.

Richard Messenger  You seem to be 'lucky' on a worryingly regular basis ... and long may you continue to be so!

hen hao, hen mei!
Richard Ford  Hao. Mei Ren Bi Ni Hao!
Great! I love the focus.
Richard Ford  Thank you Angela. Really appreciate it. I must confess that it looked a whole lot less dramatic in the view finder. But as I mentioned somewhere else - I owe more to serendipity than I do any innate skill! ;-)

A wonderful, lovely and very charming photograph Richard.
Richard Ford  Thanks Helmut - glad you liked it. It was a very tender moment for sure - the kid just paused at me and shoved his ticket to the window... click. I can't take too much credit - I can't foresee or plan these things, I just throw myself outside as much as I can.

Richard I think I said before but I will repeat myself; knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit wisdom is knowing not to add in to a fruit salad! One of you most delightfully charming offerings so far.
Richard Ford  Thanks Gerard - I too was a little surprised too - I had a few of him - but this was the most subdued which I think worked best... less is more sorta thinking...

great shot, i like it
grtz, Nico
Richard Ford  Thanks Nico!
A wonderful expression. "Camera does not matter."
Richard Ford  Yup. The camera used is almost twice as old as I am! The only thing modern on it is a range finder - a de coupled one at that too! No light meter - parallax issues at close range and weird stares from people as if you are insane for not having a little pocket canon digital something with fuzzy logic dish washing option...... :-s

Richard Ford  Thanks Pascal.

Richard Ford  Thank you Laurent! I have not been online before as I got published. This is all very exciting! ;-) Yes, I am easily amused. :-s
