the Broken Chair
© pfs!
It's been quite a while since I have taken this one. I have my own style as many of you guys do. I have chosen my motto, "Photography for soul!," and my style after this particular photo.

To me this frame symbolizes every aspect of poverty that you can see in the streets of a nation. It symbolizes the hope that is lost, the need of protection, the silent scream...a protest towards the inequalities of life.

There aren't much in the frame and I think there shouldn't be. This dog was suffering badly. You don't see it in this frame but she was all covered with countless wounds and she was barely breathing. Who knows may be she passed away after I've chosen my path to go away.

Life is not fair, and I can't stop myself about thinking the choices, the directions I picked for myself and for the others who depended on me. Could I have made this world a better place? Maybe. Then again, maybe this world is in good health as is, maybe I just need to learn to respect....

Greetings to a great community, and thanks for all of your outstanding and inspiring contributions.

Kutlarim,
Can Berkol  Degerli yorumunuz icin tesekkurler.

I can only say it's a true beauty, the dog and the image. Soul indeed my friend! If I watch closely, I can see the this silent scream in her eyes actually. I hope she had a good life...

So Sad~~~
Marie-Louise 3 years ago
Even without words the sadness, suffering of sickness and old age, the poverty...it all shines through. And yet the image itself is beautiful.
So, to me this is photography at its best. I'm really touched.
Can Berkol  Thank you Marie for the kind words.

I totally agree with Reggy. The suffering of an animal can make me sad or very, very mad.
Great shot and very sad, now i know the story behind it.
Richard Ford  Same here. Though the problem in the world is that people care more for animals and the environment than they do other people.
Northstar  Also true Richard...

Well your story made me very sad, and on the other hand .... I don't know.
It's always the suffering of an animal that touches me deeply.
The picture is outstanding !!
Can Berkol  some dogs live in luxury some not.. we humans are pretty much the same.. thank you :)
