Oh, wow.
You've captured exactly what Norway is about for me!
It's dark, it's moody, and of course the most beautiful country in the world.
The sky is simply amazing.

You're making it very difficult for me and my wife.
We told ourself, we're not going to Norway this year, but after seeing this......... :-)

Very beautiful work Daria, though I love more the BW version, saw it in the critique...I'm still wondering what focal point needs a picture like this, where the whole is so much more important that something to hold the eyes, but well, probably I'm wrong about this...anyway I love this too!

Different than your other work :) This exudes cool calmness. I especially like the little red hut that adds enough of a man-made counterpoint to set this apart from other landscapes.

I like the scenery in it, quite rugged but softened by the water but the main attraction for me is the wonderful colour combination between the blues and greens.

It was freezing cold, yes, and it seems no matter how much clothes I put on, I still can't feel my fingers after shooting.. but I guess it's still worth it. I'm really glad that you liked the result :)

doro rapp :) I heared from some people who use gloves where you can open the top for the index finger :)....I was reading in the critique forum that you aimed for a reaction to bleakness and toughness - and I wrote something about "tender" :)))....but I always have that reaction in the northern countries - even in Iceland :)...your country is beautiful.... have a great day!
