they're talking about you in other places :)
I'm planning a trip to Thailand this year so watch your wallet again as I'll bring some of my lovely lenses!
This shot looks so much better here, so much more detail and as though it's on a lightbox with even more light shining from behind (does that make sense??!)
KoPi  noticed it Vee. your remark makes perfect sense btw. thanks for dropping by.
he he... won't be here anymore girl. we're moving back to Belgium beginning of May. Perhaps we will see eachother on either side of the canal
Victoria_N  Blimey Koen! That's great news although I'll miss your Thailand shots like mad. I'll email soon

Excellent picture Koen. You've captured the atmosphere perfectly.
KoPi  Thank you Song. Do you know the festival ?
Song Yao  Not this particular one but new year's festivals are always great fun for little kids.

Superb!
Again excellent conversion (you should start giving workshops in Thailand ;) ) and watching this image makes me happy!
KoPi  not really lol. it's done with picasa I think, so just a few basic pushes on a button. allthough I think I also opened this one up in PS as well to dodge the faces of the girls on the bike a bit. I like the results I get with Picasa, but the problem is my style doesn't evolve, as it is quite basic (no dodging, burning, layers and all that). wish I was better at PS to search for a conversion style I like even more.
thanks for dropping in

Really pleasing and such a tricky one as shot right into the light.
Good work!
KoPi  bit lucky probably Andre. think I had the camera on full or half automatic and let him do all the guessing work.

Excellent shot! I too today was thinking that I want to do more faster shutter speed work and try and capture some motion too. I spend too much time around 1/25 to 1/60.
KoPi  thanks richard. funny, i think the other way around... must try to capture motion more often with slow shutterspeed, rather than always try to freeze it
