This picture was taken during Holy Week in Cuyo Island Palawan, Philippines... i was taking picture of the sunset when i came across them... they were actually picking up some sort of sea shells for their supper. Amazing, happy people and simple living!

I forgot to say that what makes the image interesting are the people going about, otherwise it would be another sunset !!

a nice image.. i guess you had a fill in flash here.. Nice colors and a classic framing. I like it

One of the few night shots like this that I've seen where the fill flash does not feel overly intrusive. And great to see shots from the Philippines by someone else on this site - I never got to go to Palawan on my trip, but I've heard (and you've demonstrated) that it's gorgeous. Nice work.
