Lovely. Like a queen, she looks so strong and proud. Love her pose, she makes me feel self confident just by looking at her, she sends it out just from being in a portrait. Great work.

Suren Manvelyan This impression was very strong especially in live. I have never seen so strong person! Rare youngs can have such imperial bearing, clear mind, proud person, and so deep and sensible individuality as she has. And everytime I was shocked when I thought about her age!

I like the lighting - great portrait.

This portrait was made in studio when she and her husband, famous composer - Rodion Shchedrin, visited Armenia. I used two softboxes - from the right as a main light the other from left - for making shadows a little bit lighter.
She remembered her photosession by Avedon and we speak about it some time....
I was strongly impressed by her great individuality nad grace. She is very strong woman, even at her 83!
