Impressive reflection indeed!
Maybe it is just me, but isn't there way too much halo at the emountain's top edge? Thats really disturbing me.

Wow...!
That's really great!
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Schnette!

Superbes tonalités, mais j'ai l'impression qu'elle bascule un peu vers la gauche... Simple impression ?
Alexandre Buisse  Je pense en effet que c'est une illusion due à la forme du rivage opposé. Merci de ton commentaire !

Stunning scene you have captured here!
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks very much, Alexander. I thought pretty much the same when I was there :)

Makes me work to "find" the horizon, and I like that! Busy and beautiful.
Alexandre Buisse  Not too much work, I hope :)
That is some calm water. Beautiful capture.
Alexandre Buisse  Thank you, Angela. You know it means a lot to me when you appreciate my images.

Alexandre Buisse  Thanks very much, Wulff!

Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Jacek.

Lots of elements yes, Im almost dizzy. Great b&w
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Anna. I can see water, earth, air and perhaps even some fire in there, hence the title. Glad you like it.

What a perspective:-))
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Ben. It's actually one of the least impressive perspectives you can get from this spot. Walk 500m in either direction and you find yourself looking down a valley or across fields of snow laden summits... I love this place!

very nice foto :)
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks rex.

Splendid Alexandre! Just curious, any reason for conversion to B&W?
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Song. The colour didn't really add anything to the image, and I felt the B&W allowed the eye to follow more easily the "strength lines" of the composition.

And also, I like B&W :)

great sky
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Pierre. At least there is a good side to Scotland receiving that much rain :)
Pierre poulard  scotland is an amazing country
my little brother is going there this year, he's veeeery happy about that

Very strong exposure. I like the harsh impact!
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Zsolt. I also like this kind of "in your face" landscape, though they are often hard to find...

Wonderful landscape!
Alexandre Buisse  Tak, Kristian!

That's what I call sharp and crisp! What a cool scene you found Alexandre!
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Ralf. There is a trick, though: when you get to the Scottish highlands, those scenes appear everywhere :)

Superb!
Great B/W and what a depth. I feel the urge to jump into the image. :)
Stunning work Alexandre.
Alexandre Buisse  Judging how it was in early April and the stuff on the left is snow, I probably wouldn't jump in the water. But hey, that's just me! Glad you like it, though :)
Tim Corbeel  lol :))
Thanks for the warning.

Suberb reflection and very powerful photo!
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Ulrik, glad you like it. And I believe having a calibrated screen helps a lot with all those delicate black and white tones!

stunning landscape
an instant fav one year ago in screening:-))
F.
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Fulvio, but one year ago? It is indeed about one year old, but I processed it for the first time just three days ago...
fulvio pellegrini  :-))) I was referring only about the time it was waiting in screening. Sometimes my English it isn't so precise LoL

mind blowing sharp!
Alexandre Buisse  Thanks Doro. I carried my tripod up and down the mountain, and for another week after that, but used it on only one image: this one. So it was worth it, after all :)

Wow!
This must be the mother of all reflections!
Overwhelming!
Alexandre Buisse  Well, this lake is so high, on the slopes of Ben Nevis, that its waters must be the purest of the whole UK... Certainly that helps reflect things :)

Superlative!!! :-)
Alexandre Buisse  Just like Scotland!
