This brings back a haunting sense-memory of 1958, near Zermatt, when I was 12 years old and hiking in to a high hostel in the Alps. Thanks for that :-)

This picture really has impact when you open it up from the thumbnail size! The tonal balance overall - and I think, specifically where the LOCAL toning (or rather tones) is in the picture make this a stunning landscape picture.

Really lovely to look at.
