LOL, funny idea and great execution.
I think I'd like it even more without the birds :)

Welcome to 1X :)

Very nice work! Like the composition. Not sure about the birds though - think it would do fine whitout them too?

Well done:-)

Welcome in the creative club:-)

First it looked very realistic but a felled is was a montage afterwards... no problems because I like it a lot!!!!
brummieGem  Thanks Ben, and it is of course a montage with the scientist and the birds being composited into the field. And I've admired your work for a long time now so thanks for taking the time to comment :)
Ben Goossens  Curious to see more creative from you*

Hi Dave. I spotted this in screening and was hoping to see it get through. This site is in sore need of a little of your light hearted magic.
KoPi  don't encourage him; next he'll be taking off his socks :-(

;-)

very nice work, mr. mad scientist. does the Gem stand for Gemma or for Geraldine ?
:-)
brummieGem  Gem as in precious stone, something hewn from rock, polished to perfection and of great worth :)

As a researcher myself (though we sadly don't use lab coats nor microscopes), I must say that I love your image, and the title made me chuckle. My only complaint is with the birds, I think they are too much and not lit very convincingly.
