It is indeed a fab place to take in the view, the bench is actually a memorial to climbers who have died in the surrounding hills. Tragedy struck recently when 3 climbers died in an avalance on this mountain.

Superb lighting and composition. Beautiful view. As others have said, it makes you want to go sit on that bench.

John Parminter The sad thing is Daniel, I never actually sat on the bench and absorbed the view, was too busy trying to get a few snaps. :)

Daniel Swann In retrospect, I find the same thing happening to me sometimes. I guess we need to slow down at times to appreciate the beauty before us (but then the light is gone!!!).
