hi Angela. I made a (probably nasty sounding lol) comment in screening about the post processing on the face. Without it this would have been an instant fave for me. there's always a sense of melancholy in your photos which I very much like. setting, that sepia tint, dof, how you put your subjects in the frame, how they stand... look. This is no different. the girl just looks so great. her gaze, and that sunlight in her hair... perfect. but this time I think you ahum... messed it up with the post processing on her face. it looks too unnatural, to digitally clean, and in that regard isn't really in tune with the rest of the photo, which has kind of a raw but lyrical quality. The smoothening also makes her face look blotchy. reminds me of drawings Thai people make over here from photographs (portraits of people)... don't like those drawings either lol. they look so... well, tacky, bordering on kitch.
although the neck and chest may be worked on in pp as well, there also seems to be a distinct difference (less drawing like than the face) compared to the face, which only emphasizes how much the face has been worked on I think.
Really wish I could see this with the girl looking more natural.

It was my direct intention to have a somewhat contrast between the face and rest of the skin. Maybe to much- I'll revist this one over the weekend. Much appreciated.
