The first thing that struck me though is that the girl on the right is looking at the girl on the left - might be my imagination though - and I think it might be uninteresting without this
David  I think yu are right.. I thonk the girl is looking at th girl on the left
Richard Tugwell  And don't you think it changes our whole reaction to the photo? We cannot see the girls face, so have no expression to go on. But we know she is looking at the other girl and we immediately think "I wonder what is going on in that head?". There is no way we can tell of course, so we just use our imagination. For this reason I think that the girl on the left is crucial - even if she's maybe accidental!

Very nice everyday perspective. I would have preferred it without the girl to the left to focus on the main motive, but it's no big problem at all.
