just curious... how does mjsmith403 know that it was shot at 400iso etc?
mjsmith403  On a Mac if you click on the picture while holding down the Control button and click Properties you can view the EXIF if it is on the picture.
I also have software that does this if you save the file to your desktop.
I believe there is also a plug-in for the Firefox browser that does it.
I get a lot of great help seeing the EXIF data. It is very helpful.
Marvin Trachtenberg  You're right, it would be helpful, I'll have to follow this up... thanks very much
Prateek Dubey  I've figured out a way. For that you've to save the picture on your computer. The picture has the exif data attached to it.
Marvin Trachtenberg  Sounds good, now I'll figure how how to save it on the computer. Thanks...
Prateek Dubey  Even I'm quite perplexed ( and impressed ). If there's a way to see the EXIF info on this site, I don't know how to do that..
Super  Nice picture, prateek. BTW, there is a check box under "Account-Preferences-Options" which you can enable the EXIF-data in this website. Hope this help~
Prateek Dubey  Thank you Super. I've figured it out now. I'm posting the exif with each picture...
expressions, light, color, mood, gritiness, and especially the choreography of the figures... !! Marvin
Prateek Dubey  Thankyou Marvin..

Really cool shot.
It seems pretty bright.
Why did the shot require 400 ISO at F4 at1/500 sec.?
Was it darker than it seems?
Prateek Dubey  Thank you mj. Actually the street is a narrow one, with shfts of light. Since I was shooting other 'things' in the shade, I chose to use 400 iso. Really, with the D700 you can't tell high iso upto 800. I was using the 70-200, so decided to use f4 for a shallow depth of field. Action happened, so the settings just remained..
mjsmith403  I hope the D700 is my next purchase.
I was thinking D300 until the D700 came out.
Now....oh well $$$$ FX lenses more $$$
One must do what one must do.
mjsmith403  Thanks Prateek

Beautifull picture! Very good colors and i wonder what they are looking at. The fog from the foodstand and the sunlight makes a really god feeling to the picture! I can almost feel the feeling :-) Nice work!
Prateek Dubey  Thank you Andreas. It was one of the days that Delhi didn't have a fog. So I was just lucky..

very nice shot. like those warmified colors. it seems a bit chilly. that early morning sunlight is still pleasant to stand in. Coffee or tea do the rest. And ready they are for yet another day.
Prateek Dubey  Thank you Koen. ' Warmify' is a very Indian expression. Do you have an Indian connection ?
Koen Pieters  no lol... there's a 'warmify' function in the Picasa post processing program I often use :-)
