beautiful composition
It's amazing, foreground...background, and the noise gives an iso 400 35mm film expression. Very good.

Simay - what a scene you've captured here. And I guess it's a wild chamois - fantastic.

I agree with Hippolyte... 100% The color is over edited, the snow is blown out, the blacks near the lower left are crushed. I just don't get it. No accounting for taste, I suppose. Compared to those very good images that get rejected for little nits, this image getting through is very confusing.

There is a big editing problem no ?
so much noise in it, foreground overexposed with oversaturated color in it, nothing natural in it... can you imagine it as a print seriously ?
simay zsolt  thank you for your onest comment. I really appreciate it. the noise in the backround was because of the big distance and the fog, that made possible to see those rays of lught. Interesting, but all my pictures from here came out noisy, but it doesn't disturb me at all. And believe me, it looks amazing on a big size print.
Jeremy P. Gray  I can imagine it as a print, personally. Is there noise? Yeah. Is the foreground overexposed? Yeah. But I don't think those technical deficiencies take away from the overall grand scene portrayed in the image. And with some work, it can be even better than it already is.
Hippolyte  Jeremy I can understand noise, overexpositon or color aberration in an abstract photography, but in landscape shot like this one I don't. For me this image shouldn't be even in screening regarding to the other image on this site. For me it's just not a photography, I'm sorry. And at this point of (over)editing you can't do anything to save it...
Jeremy P. Gray  Fair enough. We can agree to disagree on this one. I understand where you are coming from, and your position is certainly justifiable. Your points are valid. But, that being said, I still feel that the image has artistic value and I enjoy looking at. But perhaps you're right, the technical failings may be too great. That's the great thing about art; we can all see things differently. :]

I have stood in places where I had a similar view as that sheep. This captures the sense of space perfectly.
