I agree with Jacob on the b/w aspect of this, it's superb in b/w.

Very nice shot, nicely exposed.

The only thing that bothers me is the lower part of his chest, I'd clone it, leaving just the top part.

Is a strong image, actualy the face of the man is only iluminated by the light of the fire, very interesting.

One would think that a photo of fire would do best in color, but this is a good example that black&white works great also. Very good details in the flames and you have a nice contrast from black to white that reinforces the action. Balanced composition with interesting diagonal.
