I live somewhere down there in that icy misty coldness. Yesterday was one of these days, when it is warm and clear on top of that mountains, and the coldness stays down in the valley. A good day to capture some landscape...

Maybe you could climb the Dome of Cologne :-)). To me Cologne would be far more exciting than my place, but sometimes the black forest is still worth a visit. Thank you Klaus.

You are really lucky living in that area of the black forest where you get such inversion wheather conditions. We have the same wheather conditions here at Cologne as well but unfortunately we don't have any mountains or hills to climb up in the near neigbourhood to take such great photos. This capture really looks fantastic.

i love the way the group of trees stands out from the rest. you have found a place with a wonderful, dream-like view, very good
Harald Bildner  thank you Dragan. I spend a couple of hours just walking around to find a spot witch has an eyecatcher and an interesting background. When I saw these bunch of trees I knew I had to come back when the sun is much lower.

Very wide view and so much nuanced tones. Great.
regards, egon
Harald Bildner  Thank you kregon, I wasnt sure about the tones. I even thought of adding vignetting to give it 1x athmosphere. Now I know it was the right choice not to do that

You are really lucky, You can call this Your home! :)

Great mood, like it a lot!
Harald Bildner  thank you latoday. For photography I would actually prefer to live in a city, but sometimes this mountains are quite interesting too.

I've had a few tries at this kind of photo but I never managed to get one as nice looking as this one.
Harald Bildner  Thank you Pedro. Although I live just down there, it is quite a hassle to get up here with all the equipment and catch the right moment.

Great depth!
All the best,
J.
Harald Bildner  Thank you Jacek, that day I could even see the swiss alpes from up there, wich is only possible a few days in the year. So I'm glad I was able to capture that great depth.
