Into the Fire

Taken at a Middle age festival - at the end of the show, these guys rode/ran through the fire. So the flames and motif is not altered. The blur is due to the heat of the flames and not added in PS. I just saturated the image and treated it with different layers/textures(the creative edit section was chosen therefor), for then to finish it in an add of colors again.

Jörg Hubrich Tak Jesper, and I agree there is quite a painted look over the picture,which is a combination of the heatwaves and the added textures. But imho this just seemed to improve the mood and give more life to the shot, even so I also feared this could be seen as "too much" for some. So your comment makes me even more happy :-)

Awesome! The textures adds a lot of character to the image.
They are like samurai warriors in a fierce battle...

Jörg Hubrich It took me some time to figure out what to do with the shot, but once the textures were applied, I felt the scene got more life and still enough room for imagination.
