simondeg Thanks. I used a fisheye lens, but it means you have to get the subject very close! Looked at your website - amazed by your retouching skills. Cheers.

simondeg Just a very old M42 russian job. Don't think it has a brand name, but I know it was made in belarus. Beautiful look to it stopped down. Thanks for the comment.

simondeg Nice one, cheers. Very little editing involved - some photoshoping for composition but barely any for the look - all in the lens and the lighting. Greasy feathers do seem to have a lovely quality to them..

what a great perspective and wonderful shot. How did you take it? Did you use live view, or get down and filthy with the pigeons yourself? ;-)

simondeg I didn't use liveview, I just kind of shot it blind with a remote, although myself and my kit were fairly covered in stinking in bin juice by the end. Worth it though, I guess. Many thanks for your kind comments.
