Guido Hi Tomasz, some people indeed drew my attention to your nice summer season interpretation after my photo was published! While I had been not been aware of your photo in advance, we have to realize that there are many photos of popular motifs on OE which have been taken from the same commonly visited locations, but which differ significantly in idea, mood and interpretation. This is so fantastic! I love the scale, details and the wonderful composition! I have had a dream for quite some time to get me a paramotor some day and be able to shoot from the sky.

Guido Several years ago, there was a photo essay in National Geographic (or was it GEO) by a photographer who flew over Africa in a hot air balloon and took photos of villages, wildlife etc. Something like that would indeed be exciting...

this house must be the most photographed place in Salzburg. i have got one in the winter, i saw one in color here and now this beautiful b/w version. very good work, i like that preset/future message

Guido Thanks for your comments, Mal. I captured this shot from a nearby hilltop overlooking the house and the field in the picture. The whole concept was my wife's idea from a previous visit to the hilltop, when we were musing about the scene and how it suggested crossroads in life, two strangers getting to know each other and possibly ending up in a home together etc. So we scheduled some weekend afternoon fun with two friends who would wait at the junction while we moved into position with my gear on the hilltop and waited for other pedestrians to walk out of the frame. After receiving the thumbs-up by mobile phone, they would start walking back and forth while I snapped away. I also directed them to walk together, but ultimately decided that this one here worked better.
