Martin Gremm Thank you Schnette! I pulled over for this one because of the light. Somehow most of these stairs are not oriented right with respect to the sun, but this one is an exception :) Sorry for the late reply. I am only now catching up...

This is excellent! I'm not sure what it is but it looks one of those large above ground oil storage cylinders with stairs wrapped around them (to get to the top)

In any case, you've made a masterpiece out of it.

This is a great capture Martin - where is it? It's hard to imagine any place with stairs like that! (At least I think they're stairs??)

Martin Gremm Kevin, they are stairs going up the side of a cylindrical storage tank in a refinery. These things are all over Houston, but the designers rarely orient the stairs right to get good shadows. I got lucky with this example. Thanks for the comment!
