Fantastic scene. I once was a keen dawn surfer and seeing beaches like this was half the drive.

Wow! Did you use special filters? What was the settings?
Doug Roane  Thanks Dilong. No special filters. I used ISO 100. f/20. Exposures of 1/20 and 1/40 sec blended manually in PS using layer masks.

Doug Roane  yes indeed it was! (morning, actually :) ). thanks, Thomas. I ran down the beach about 1/2 mile when I saw the fog over the dunes, but, dripping in sweat, I was able to get this shot ;-)
