Dear sir
can you explain to me??
how can you making the picture like this??
i see this is slow speed tecnic, is very good
i have seen picture like this but not like this picture
if your have big heart can you teach me about to make this picture??
Thomas Sass Pedersen  Sorry about the late answer, Arief. There is not much magic to this one. The shutterspeed is about 1,3 second and thats pretty much it. The water was quite low, so you get the silky look but the flow of the water. The leafs have probably soaked up so much water that they stay on the bottom. So there isn't much magic in this one. Only thing done is a wee bit of increasment of colors in photoshop, thats it.

Thomas,
I need to tell you, that I have seen thousands of pictures like this, but you put something really new into this shot. The granularity and the tonality of the picture is captivating. Outstanding! Keep on!
Thomas Sass Pedersen  Glad you liked the difference in this one. The only thing I wished for my self afterwards would be that I had brought my tripod. The IS worked well here, and good enough for a 12x18" print, but it could be a tad sharper. Cheers, Sass

The movement of the water you've captured here is absolutely stunning - the whole image, with floating flecks of colour, a masterpiece...
Thomas Sass Pedersen  Thank you for your comment, Annie, glad you like how it turned out. I like it much my self, so much that it is hanging on my wall ;o) Keep clicking ;o) Cheers, Sass

Nice shot! I especially like the texture you have got in the water. And that you stayed away from the cliche like "lonely leaf" thing.

I've just recently tried some of that moving water, a bit off from what I usually do, but want to try some different for a change. No success here with the one I posted.. Better wait with posting until it's ripe.
Thomas Sass Pedersen  Thank you for your comment, Lars. This one is one of my own favorites actually. I was trying for that cliche-shot you talk about but didn't get it right, and this one just screamed at me when I was standing on the bridge. But no tripod with me, so I had to take a chance.
But Norway should give you good chances of white water, in Denmark, there aren't really any heights or cliffs which often are what carries these shots, I was lucky the water worked here. Keep clicking ;o) Cheers, Sass
