A superb capture Norbert. In the UK we have a ridge called the Dragon's Back but it isn't as grand as this.

Norbert Maier Thank you very much, Samuli. The pic was taken at the so called Devil's wall in Saxony Anhalt/Germany near the city of Quedlinburg. The German term is Teufelsmauer and it's based on an ancient legend.

Norbert Maier Guess you have to use the German term. Just look for "Teufelsmauer".

Noticed your other photo of the same location, but I still like this one better, though it seems a totally different atmosphere. Really like the colour; did you use film here or is your digital's settings just dead on for the light?

Norbert Maier It's actually already 3 of them on 1X. And they actually are all shot at the same day. Problem with the one you're mentioned is, that I did the processing at my computer at work not realising that my videocard and my monitor went nuts that day. Thats the raeson why this image is totally off and way too dark. :-(
When I discovered the mistake the image was published already and I have no clou if there's a possibility to exchange this pic for a better one or to remove it from my profile.
Anyhow - all these shots are digital and therefore there's always the problem that the color's mostly off a little.
