This is a remarkable image. The lighting is stunning and the mist framing is almost to good to be true. Your composition is super, including the lightened tree tops making a perfectly balanced image. And the way the heron poses for you...

Lovely morning light and superb capture! May you share with me the place where you took this picture? I'm now in Munich for work and I'll be here for two more months, so it could be a nice idea for some weekend shots!

Just take the S7 in the direction to wolfratshausen, leave the train at buchenhain and make your way down to the river. I am sure, you'll love it there! Hope you'll have a great time in munich! :-))
