I am looking at a Contax G2 as well... got a ncie bkack one with biogon 28 in my sights!

PS: Nice pic.

HenriAntoine  do get the planar 45 f/2 with it. They come for almost nothing second hand and it is without any doubt the best lens I've ever owned (the 21 f/2.8 is pretty amazing as well, by the way). My G2 set was stolen from me last January. I replaced it with an M6 with one Zeiss ZM 28 but I have to admit that for street shooting the G2 is simply better. The Leica is a thing to love, so beautiful simple and solid, and tops the G2 for more intimate slow photography as in the three shots before this one in my portfolio. But for analogue street shooting, there's nothing like the G2. The meter never fails, the AF is spectacular, the exposure compensation a joy, the multiple exposure possibility wonderful. Ah, do I miss it...
Richard Ford  I always stop and look at the contax and leica dealers at the large local photohraphy market here and wonder at the Leica's. They look nice and solid...yet the M6/M7 do not seem very small. Especially compared to my Nikon F80. In fact I think the Nikon is smaller - with a 35 f/2 attached.

It was my understanding that Leica's were loved so much for street shooting because of their size (and other things like quiet shutter, etc...)

M6, G2, Rollei 35...... so many decisions...
