Thomas Ljungberg Well there is a finesse in doing b/w conversion, curves adjustments and toning. One can get very different results, mood, and feel using just those three. And this was what I meant when saying processing, I took for granted that this was not "edited" like your more personal poetic images. You have shown a great feeling for this in this image.

I don't know why but swedish enchants me so much! and since the shot was taken in Sweden, I thought that the words to it just have to be in swedish ;) I can't take the credit for them though - it's a song by Kent, which I like very much :)

Lovely image, Daria, really very very nice.

But, I am a bit worried that you might have caught the highly contagious Mal-Smartitis. In its mild form it makes you want to take long exposures, but if it is not treated immediately it might evolve causing the urge to smear Vaseline on your camera, and at that point it might become irreversible. LOL
Sorry if I am playing the fool, I just could not resist!

Ah, could you, please, translate the poem? Please, please!
My Norwegian is not quite good enough (non-existent, in fact) and google translate makes it even less intelligible.

I was getting worried, Marcello, as I've noticed that I've been shooting long-exposure-water images only, and the thought about dipping my canon 10-22 in vaseline haunted my mind. I'm afraid, I'm deeply and hopelessly infected :D

The poem is in swedish, it comes from the song "Before it all ends" by Kent (I love these swedes!). Here's a bit clumsy but quite close translation:

Finally I found the words to tell you
I caught your hands under the table
There's still time for us to grow up
Closer to the sun before the summer slides to october

Are you happy now?
